Glenna Mauldin, Oncology, Nutrition

Dr. Glenna Mauldin graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, SK, in 1985. After completing her internship (1986) and medical oncology residency (1988) at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Mauldin attended Cornell University and was awarded a Master of Science in Nutrition. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Specialty of Oncology, in 1991; she was awarded diplomate status by the American College of Veterinary Nutrition in 2004. Dr. Glenna Mauldin served as a Staff Veterinarian in Oncology and Nutrition at The Animal Medical Center from 1990 through 1997, and as an Associate Professor of Veterinary Oncology at LSU from 1998 through 2007.

Dr. Mauldin was President of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Specialty of Oncology from 2004 through 2007, and was a Member at Large for the American College of Veterinary Nutrition from 2007 through 2010.

Dr. Glenna Mauldin has authored over 75 scientific articles, book chapters and abstracts, and lectures frequently at national and international meetings. Her areas of research interest include cancer cachexia, canine and feline lymphoma, and hematology.
