Vanessa joined the Applecross team in November of 2023 after moving cross-country from Toronto. She is a graduate from Humber College and has worked as an event planner for almost 10 years. After much thought, Vanessa used her spontaneous move as an opportunity to explore other career fields - which included working with animals. She is a proud rescue dog mom to her German Shepherd x Lab, Bella, and has grown up caring for pets at home her entire life. When a position at Applecross became available, she knew it would be a great mix of work and pleasure. Vanessa loves that each day at the clinic has something new for her to learn about... and of course, the puppies! During her time off, Vanessa enjoys playing competitive volleyball and exploring the beautiful trails on the Island. Vanessa can't wait to meet you and build lasting relationships with your furry friends!
