Theresa Sanderson, Hospital Manager

Theresa is our amazing hospital manager! Theresa was born and raised on the stunning Vancouver Island in BC, and lucky for us, heard the blue skies of Alberta calling her name! Theresa completed her veterinary office assistant program at Robertson College and employs the skills learned there on a daily basis at our hospital.

Theresa shares her home with 2 wonderful pets, Flynn Ridepurr, a lovable senior Tuxedo and Wilson (named after Deadpool) a stunning black lab whom she considers her heart dog. She has a soft spot for labs and her whole face lights up when one comes in our front doors.

When she isn't being a rockstar at the clinic, Theresa can be found at the off leash park with Wilson, playing board games or watching sports with her 4 sons, daughter in law and granddaughter, or at McMahon stadium cheering on the Calgary Stampeders.

When asked what her favourite part of working at the hospital is, Theresa replied that she loves understanding the bond between our clients and their fur babies. She also loves leading our superstar team and watching them reach their amazing potential and figuring out new and creative ways to make sure the clinic flows well.

Within the veterinary field, Theresa has a special interest in pet nutrition and is always working on increasing her knowledge in the vast field of proper pet nutrition as well as leadership. Theresa's veterinary superpower is that she brings a fun and positive attitude wherever she ventures. She also has a soft spot for larger dogs who are a bit nervous and uses some great fear free techniques to build their trust with her. We are so happy to have Theresa as part of the team!
