Andrea Smith, Medical Director
Dr. Andrea Smith is an experienced, versatile veterinarian with a variety of specialized interests. She graduated with a BSc from the University of Guelph in 2005 and received her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009. She joined the Don Mills Animal Hospital family in 2014 and became the Medical Director in 2018.
Dr. Smith has advanced training in cruciate repair, dentistry, canine rehabilitation and other orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. Dr. Smith enjoys a fast-paced clinic environment, and is committed to providing compassionate and skillful veterinary care. In addition to her clinic work, she also enjoys teaching and mentoring new veterinarians.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Smith spends her time with her beloved (and wild!) tri-coloured Shetland Sheepdog, Jude. She also enjoys travelling, wine tasting, collecting vinyl records and enjoying the Toronto music scene.
