Tina Chiu, Veterinarian
Dr. Tina Chiu graduated from St George's University in 2017 and practiced in Saskatchewan for a few years before returning to GTA where she grew up. Prior to joining VCA Don Mills Animal Hospital in October 2023, Tina practiced at another VCA hospital, Cachet Village in Markham. Dr. Chiu loves being a veterinarian as it is challenging and at the same time, rewarding; there is always something new to learn as it is an ever-changing field that is constantly evolving to help better the lives of our beloved furry family members.
Dr. Chiu speaks conversational Mandarin and her special interests include dermatology, client education and geriatric medicine. Being a dog mom to a Great Pyrenees and a Shepherd/Husky mix, she is passionate about joint health for large breed dogs. Outside of work, Dr. Chiu enjoys playing tennis, exploring the GTA with her dogs, fostering cats with local shelters, volunteering at community spay/neuter clinics and spending time with family and friends.
