Shael Zelunka, Medical Director
Dr Shael Zelunka, a McGill and then Melbourne university veterinary graduate was originally practicing in rustic Muskoka Ontario after working with koalas and kangaroos before finally settling on Victoria in 2017. Shael and his partner Claire have two wild daughters who along with their golden retriever sidekick Daisy, love the island life and can often be seen bouncing around the gulf islands in their self-converted sprinter van enjoying the outdoors. Shael is a big traveler, having met his partner Claire on a bicycle trip in China for example – he's a hot yoga lover, mountain biker and snowboarder with a pre-veterinary career as a 3d videogame artist! Special interests include dentistry, laser surgery, behavioural consults, and ophthalmology with a growing interest in ultrasound.
