Ilona Houston, Veterinarian
Dr. Ilona Houston grew up in Edmonton and attended the University of Alberta where she attained her BSc Biology, then moved to Calgary for her veterinary degree and remained in Alberta to complete her MSc Public Health. In 2018 she traded cross country skis for year-round trail running in Victoria; she and her crazy Australian shepherd have quickly and happily adapted to island life. Despite being a dedicated dog mom, she still considers herself a cat person deep down and loves to care for feline patients- even the "spicy" ones. Especially passionate about internal medicine, Dr. Houston is looking forward to taking care of your four legged (or not!) pets from routine preventative care exams, to managing any health challenges that they may face.
