Nanette is our amazing hospital manager! Nanette was born and raised in the Netherlands, and lucky for us, heard the blue skies of Alberta calling her name! Nanette’s passion for the industry started at a very young age in Holland at her Opa’s farm. Life took her in a different direction and after working in the financial industry and later in Canada in Interior Design she finally found her place at VCA where she worked at multiple clinics throughout Calgary.

Nanette shares her home with 2 sweet ginger cats, Charlie & Arthur and Fenna (which means protection in Dutch/Frisian) a stunning black Boxer/Doberman cross. She has a soft spot for both Boxers & Doberman Pinschers and her whole face lights up when one comes in our front doors.

When she isn't being a rockstar at the clinic, Nanette can be found in our beautiful Rocky Mountain backyard hiking, cross country skiing, baking/cooking or playing board games with her husband, 2 daughters (one of them is studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technologist) and boyfriends.

Nanette loves leading our superstar team and watching them reach their amazing potential and figuring out new and creative ways to make sure the clinic flows well.
