Stacie Akins, Veterinarian
Dr. Akins grew up on a farm southwest of Calgary and has always had a great love of animals. She was a science student at the University of Calgary before completing her DVM veterinary degree in 2006 at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. Marda Loop Animal Hospital has been her professional home ever since.
Stacie loves camping, spending time at her family farm playing with her cows and cheering at her 3 kids' hockey and lacrosse games. She has 4 cats and does not believe that makes her a crazy cat lady.
Stacie has enjoyed working with the families at Marda Loop Animal Hospital and looks forward meeting new patients too.
