Laura Sousa, Hospital Manager

From a young age, Laura always knew that she wanted to work with animals. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Guelph Ridgetown campus with a diploma in Veterinary Technology. After graduation, Laura gained experience working in an emergency hospital, a small animal practice and a research facility before going back to school where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree from the University of Guelph. She joined VCA Canada in 2014 as a client care specialist and technician. It is here where not only did her love for animals grow, but she recognized her passion for veterinary hospital management.

Laura is a new mom. Her home is also full of furry and feathered creatures. She has a 6 year old lab named Roo, two cats (Pepe and Sassy) and a 21 year old cockatiel named Hobbes.
