Mike Cormier, Veterinarian
Dr. Cormier was born and raised in Montreal. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1985. After graduating, Mike moved to Moncton, New Brunswick, where he began practicing veterinary medicine and met his wife Anne.
In 1987 Dr. Cormier moved to Toronto where he practiced emergency veterinary medicine and surgery for many years. In 1993 he joined Secord Animal Hospital and together with Dr. Mark Teeger and in 2000 they joined with the Ontario Veterinary Group. In 2014 Dr. Teeger and Dr. Cormier decided to step back as practice owners and handed the torch to the Associate Veterinary Clinics. The Commitment that Dr. Cormier shared along side Dr Teeger to their client’s and their pets have become the pillars of our values and beliefs at Secord, and our team will continue to carry on the commitment that Dr. Cormier and Dr. Teeger believe forever.
Dr. Cormier is particularly interested in medicine and cardiology, soft tissue surgery and ultrasound. He recognizes the importance of excellent client service and communication and a highly knowledgeable staff.
