Sonia Mendonca, Veterinarian
Dr. Sonia graduated with honors from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1998. She joined our team at Westside in January 2012, with more than 13 years experience as a veterinarian. Her special interests include surgery and preventative medicine, and plans to further her surgical skills as well as improve her Portugese!
She is the proud owner of a boxer named Loxley, and Precious the shih tzu/yorkie X, both of which she rescued. Loxley enjoys visiting the family farm in Orangeville where he plays endlessly with the family dog Mondego, a 147lb Dogo/Fila X as well as many cats and horses!
