Vivian Ungar, Veterinarian

DVM

After graduating from York University with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree, Dr Ungar obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997 from the University of Guelph's Ontario Veterinary College. She worked at Toronto's largest animal shelter for 16 years then worked in two small animal clinics in the GTA for several years before joining Willowdale Animal Hospital in 2016.

Dr Ungar's veterinary interests include canine and feline internal medicine, geriatric and preventative health care and emergency medicine.

She is a member of the board of the Toronto Academy of Veterinary Medicine where she helps organize and regularly attends continuing education lectures for veterinarians in the GTA.

Outside of work, Vivian enjoys reading, gardening, speed walking and spending time with her husband, and 8 year old daughter. She also is kept busy tending to the needs of her high energy blue-eyed golden doodle, Lexie.
