Dr. Fei Sun, an Ottawa native, completed her veterinary medicine degree at the Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire in St. Hyacinthe. Fluent in English, French, and Mandarin, she is excited to return home and join the exceptional team at Alta Vista Animal Hospital, where she’s eager to continue her passion for animal care.

At home, Dr. Sun shares her life with her partner Alex, their German Shepherd (who is often the star of her social media), and two cats.

Outside of work, Dr. Sun is an avid nature enthusiast, enjoying hikes and exploring the outdoors. She loves travelling in a camper van, making memories along the way. A fan of good food, she has a special fondness for dim sum, particularly those with shrimp.

Dr. Sun brings her diverse skills, love of animals, and vibrant personality to her veterinary practice, and is excited to make a positive impact in her community.
