Jennifer Girard, Veterinarian
Dr. Jen Girard graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008 after leaving Carleton University with a couple of degrees. She started working for Blair Animal Hospital following graduation and has called it home ever since.
Jen enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a particular interest in dentistry, pain management and geriatric medicine. She loves to help foster a long-lasting, loving relationship with your pet by keeping your furry family member in tip-top shape - no matter their age!
When not at the clinic Jen enjoys swimming, biking and writing new titles for the Pull & Know, a series of quick reference handbooks for veterinarians, veterinary technicians and even pet owners. Her husband David and her animal family consisting of a young black lab named Pickles, two ginger tabbies, Tony and Arthur, two yellow-footed tortoises, Elliott and Violet, and one perfect turtle, Shermane, keep her busy at home!
