Originally from Vancouver, BC., Dr. Barton received his Veterinary degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. He gained experience working both Emergency and Primary Care at a busy referral hospital in New York City where he worked for two years prior to joining the Calgary North Team in June 2006.
By working closely with specialists in New York City, Dr. Barton was able to develop the skills surrounding his special interests, which include internal and emergency medicine.
In his spare time Jason enjoys skiing, hiking and spending time with his bull terrier cross ‘Dharma’ who was rescued from a local shelter.
