Emily Lanigan, Medical Director
Dr. Emily Lanigan grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan. Prior to entering the veterinary profession, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Business Administration. She spent time living and working in Alberta and British Colombia before returning to Saskatchewan to pursue vet school. She graduated in 2018 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined Central Animal Hospital shortly after that and recently took over as medical director in 2022. Emily has a passion for surgery and imaging. She loves mentoring the newer veterinarians and techs, and helping the whole team at Central deliver gold standard care to our beloved patients. When she’s not at the clinic Emily enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their 2 human children and 3 senior pets.
