Keith Wilkinson, Medical Director
Keith graduated from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. In 2006 he moved with his wife Claire, also a veterinarian and their furry family to Calgary.
He spent his first few years trying out the James Herriot lifestyle before deciding to focus on cats and dogs. He has worked in several 24 hour emergency hospitals developing his interest in surgical cases but is happy to rise to the challenge of all aspects of veterinary medicine especially preventative care.
Since arriving in Canada his family has expanded to include two young daughters and their furry family consists of four cats – Echo, Jasper, Myrtle, and Seamus, as well as a Golden Retriever – Kala.
He has served on the board of the Calgary Academy of Veterinary Medicine and is currently a member of the Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), as well as the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
When not in the hospital you’ll usually find him outdoors enjoying all the benefits of living beside the Rockies. Summer camping trips with days hiking, biking, or competing in triathlons, and in the winter back-country skiing.
