Please meet Angela, one of our incredible Registered Veterinary Technologists! Angela grew up on the west coast in Vancouver, BC and moved to Alberta with her young family a few years ago. Knowing she wanted to help animals from the start, Angela graduated Thompson Rivers University in 2008 with a Registered Veterinary Technologist Diploma. Angela’s family shares their home with a senior Chihuahua mix all the way from California, named Levi aka Schmoo, Schmoobler, Schmoobaru Outback, and a beautiful black cat named Peep.

For fun, Angela loves exploring Calgary with her family, in particular going for walks at Nose Hill Park or along the Bow River. In the winter she loves snowboarding!

Angela has a keen interest in anesthesia and loves learning how different anesthetic techniques can better help our patients. She also loves radiology and getting the perfect picture for our veterinarians! Angela also enjoys talking to owners about pet behavior and how we can better communicate with our pets. Overall, Angela just loves being able to work so closely with all the furry family members. Angela's veterinary superpower amongst many talents, is placing a Doppler when no one else can! She is also amazing at giving intramuscular injections to wiggly patients! We are so lucky to have Angela as part of our incredible team, as she contributes so much and has the most delightful personality!
