Dr. Gallacher graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After working in Lethbridge for 6 years, she joined the Horizon Veterinary team in September 2006 as an Associate Veterinarian. She brings extensive medical expertise to the Horizon Group and has expanded her competency to rabbit veterinary medicine which pet ownership of these gentle animals is continually growing in popularity.

Dr. Gallacher’s heart and passion lies with her animals. Khyber, which is 3 ½ years old is also an obedience champion and has obtained the American Kennel Club title of CDX (companion dog excellent) and Merin a new addition who is in training. The bond and devotion between Dr. Gallacher and her Newfoundlanders is perfect illustration of the human-animal bond at its best.
