Maarje Armstrong, Medical Director
Dr. Maarje Armstrong was born and raised in Echo Bay near Sault St. Marie. As a child she spent many hours with her horses and competed in local showing events. This time spent with her horses led to a life-long passion of caring for animals. Maarje graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 2003. She has a special interest in dentistry and the health benefits it provides for our pets. She attended the Animal Dental Training Centre in Baltimore. Maarje's favourite part of her job is to provide compassionate collaborative care for pets and their families and this shows in her warm smile and caring approach to vet care.
Maarje and her husband Kelvin have two children Brendan and Lauren and are very active in their school and community. They also share their home with their Golden Retriever Kipper and a hamster named Peppermint.
