Emily has found her new home at Green Acres! Having a special connection with animals she has enjoyed her career since obtaining her Veterinary Hospital Assistant certification in 2009 at the Kelowna Center for Arts and Technology. She has been known to work her “magic” on patients and is often referred to as “the cat whisperer.” Emily loves working with people and pets alike and wants to further her veterinary career. She received the VCA scholarship in 2020 for the RVT Associate Degree at Penn Foster College in Arizona and is by working towards graduation as an online student. She enjoys her time doing yoga, being outdoors, visiting family and traveling and is kept busy by her German Shepherd, Dottie.
