Nadine Laffin, Veterinarian
Dr. Nadine grew up just east of Edmonton in Sherwood Park, AB. She received the best of both worlds, growing up being close to the city, but also spending ample time with the animals on her parents’ farm including everything from dogs, cats, to horses.
After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan in 2014, Dr. Nadine moved to Lethbridge and joined the Green Acres Animal Hospital family. Her favorite aspect of working in the veterinary industry is developing relationships with clients and their pets. She really enjoys the communication piece of the job and always tries to make visits fun while trying to really get to know her clients. Dr. Nadine enjoys all avenues of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in dermatology and internal medicine. Occasionally, she will even show up to work with her camera to take candid photos of staff with their pets.
Outside of work, Dr. Laffin’s dog Juliet keeps her occupied and she can usually be found at walking at the off-leash parks or mountain biking in the coulees. Spending time outdoors is quite important to her including frequent trips to the mountains to enjoy hiking, kayaking, and camping trips in the summer.
