Brittany O'Brien, Veterinarian
Dr. Brittany O'Brien is a recent addition to the VCA Island Animal Hospital family after moving to Vancouver Island from Ontario in 2021. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. O'Brien is Fear-Free Certified and takes every effort to reduce fear and anxiety of her patients during their veterinary visits. She values the bond between animals and their families, and strives to provide compassionate, high standard of medicine for every furry patient she works with. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending her free time hiking, camping and travelling with her partner and golden retriever named Oakley.
