Jamie Wintemute, Veterinarian
Dr. Jamie Wintemute was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Victoria and then travelled to gain veterinary experience. She recently completed her 4 year Veterinary Degree at the Western Collage of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon Sask, where she graduated near the top of her class. Jamie worked at Island Veterinary Hospital for two summers as a veterinary student while earning her degree. Over the years Jamie has developed a love for British Columbia, leading her to Vancouver Island, and Island Veterinary Hospital. Jamie has one dog, Sarge, and likes to run with her dog, camp, fish, hike, scuba dive and travel.
Dr. Wintemute is currently on maternity leave until 2023.
