Dr. Susan Zakrzewski (better known as Dr Zak) graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1985. Originally from Montreal, she has practiced at Kanata Animal Hospital since graduation.
She enjoys all aspects of general practice, from medicine to soft tissue surgeries, as well as helping clients enhance their unique bond with their pets.

She also enjoys spending time with her Canadian Champion Doberman Pinscher, Viva, actively training and showing in competitive obedience. Viva shares the spotlight with two multi-toed minous named "Gaston" and "Ti-Mousse".
