Salomon Schroeter, Veterinarian
Originally from the Ottawa area, Dr. Salomon Schroeter returned home to start practicing during the pandemic. His passion for veterinary medicine started from a very young age with trips to his grandparent's hobby and dairy farms east of Ottawa. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2020 as Class Co-President and Valedictorian. After graduation, Dr Schroeter started his career in the wild and wonderful world of emergency and critical care medicine, working at a local emergency hospital.
Considering a change of pace and wanting to focus on relationship building with his clientele and their beloved pets, he transitioned into general practice and joined the team at Pretoria in 2022. He has a passion for internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasound. He strives to do everything he can to strengthen the human-animal bond, which made him the perfect addition to our Pretoria team.
In his free time, Dr. Schroeter loves to spend time outdoors on camping trips and at the soccer pitch. He also likes to dabble in the world of home-made cocktails and spending quality time with his growing family for four (his wife, their sassy calico and their newborn human baby).
He is excited to tackle his new role as Medical Director and continue to make Pretoria the place to come to in the Glebe area.
