Margaret Doyle, Veterinarian
Dr. Doyle grew up near Longview, Alberta where she still spends lots of time at the family farm. She spends her time off with Nick, Skip and Ted, quarter horses, which are great company on adventures through the fields at the farm or on trails in the mountains.
In her spare time, Dr. Doyle works with the Calgary Humane Society to help ensure lost pets get the best possible veterinary care. Patches, an abused shih tzu, was rescued by Dr. Doyle from the humane society, and had several wonderful years in Dr. Doyle’s care. Sara and Princess Ella, the cats, now have to step up to fill the void until another perfect little soul finds its way into Dr. Doyle’s heart and home.
Working at Riverbend, the Calgary Humane Society and the CARE Centre, gives Dr. Doyle a well rounded perspective on veterinary medicine in Calgary. Her specific interests in veterinary care are ultrasound and diagnostic imaging, and also veterinary forensics and animal protections.
