Jodene Mills, General Manager
Jodene completed her Master of Education in 2002 and spent the years following working in both corporate education and animal-related non-profit management such as The Calgary Zoo. She joined the VCA Canada team in 2015 and has held both emergency and general practice leadership positions, most recently General Manager of District Animal Hospital & Urgent Care. She thoroughly enjoys sharing her passion for companion animals with staff and clients alike.
Jodene is a single mom to 2 children, a cat (“Nosy”) and dogs (“Sammy”, “Aurora”, and "Howard"). Her free time is spent on continuing education, exploring the outdoors with her kids and dogs, horseback riding, impromptu road trips, and catching up on her favourite TV episodes and movies. She is working toward completing her Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management (2023) before starting a Certificate in Veterinary Social Work.
