Dr. Mainardes began her journey in veterinary medicine in 2005 in Brazil. After earning her degree, she relocated to Canada in 2013 to pursue a master’s degree in Animal Science at the University of Guelph. Following her studies, she successfully completed the Canadian veterinary certification program and began her career in general practice in Alberta.

In 2022, Dr. Mainardes returned to Ontario, where she joined the VCA London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital, channeling her passion for emergency medicine. She has a strong professional interest in surgery, emergency, and critical care medicine, dedicating her career to providing compassionate, high-quality care for animals in need.

Outside of work, Dr. Mainardes enjoys traveling, listening to music, working out, and spending quality time with her beloved cat, Mama.
