Rebecca Alexander, Veterinarian
Dr. Alexander was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She spent her summers playing and, later, working at her family camp at Lake of the Woods, Ontario. Her lifelong love of family and the outdoors is matched only by her lifelong love of animals.
Rebecca received a degree in Health Sciences with an Honours Specialization in Biology from Western University in London, Ontario. Her pursuit of a career as a veterinarian brought her to Alberta, where she completed her DVM from the University of Calgary. Her interests include internal medicine, preventative care and dermatology. She looks forward to starting her new career and life in Edmonton with VCA Canada Mayfield Animal Hospital team. Rebecca feels her commitment to lifelong learning is key to a successful career and bright future.
