Annabelle Sydie-Smith, Medical Director
Dr Annabelle grew up in Edmonton and spent many hours both at the University of Alberta and local equestrian stables molding her future career as a veterinarian. A 1999 graduate of Western College of Veterinary Medicine, Annabelle has been with Mayfield Animal Hospital since 2000. Her enjoyment working with the wonderful staff and patients every day drives her passion for all parts of veterinary medicine. Annabelle’s greatest enjoyment is becoming a trusted member of the pet families’ medical team and for many of the longtime clients of the hospital working with the generations of furry creatures that bless their homes. Dr Annabelle continues to believe that being a veterinarian is the absolute best career and plans to continue practicing for many years to come.
