Jesse Pawlak, Veterinarian
Dr. Jesse was born and raised in the community of Red Deer, Alberta. He split his undergraduate education between Red Deer College and the University of Alberta, obtaining a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Molecular Genetics at the University of Alberta, graduating with distinction in 2016.
After completing his degree, he moved to Calgary to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. In 2020, Dr. Jesse graduated with distinction, receiving the Academic Gold Medal for his achievements.
He began his career in a rural mixed practice in Ponoka, where he gained invaluable experience. Eventually, Dr. Jesse returned to Calgary to shift his focus to small animal medicine. His professional interests include echocardiography and cardiology, and he is dedicated to finding innovative solutions to enhance access to veterinary care for pets throughout the Calgary area.
Currently, Dr. Jesse has started the process towards his board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Canine and Feline Practice). This endeavor reflects his commitment to providing the highest level of care to your beloved pets.
Outside of work, Dr. Jesse’s time is best spent with his wonderful wife, daughter, and their two mischievous dogs. He is an avid cyclist and loves exploring the outdoors through canoeing, hiking, and camping.
