Dr. Julie Walter earned her DVM degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2011. Following that she completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PEI. She remained at AVC for a 3-year Internal Medicine Residency, during which she concurrently completed a Masters of Veterinary Sciences degree.
She then returned to Ontario and joined the Internal Medicine team at the VCA 404 VERH in 2015. Dr. Walter enjoys all aspects of Internal Medicine including ultrasound and endoscopy, but has a particular interest in autoimmune disease, endocrine disorders, infectious disease, and gastrointestinal disease.
When not at the 404, Dr. Walter enjoys the outdoors, skiing, and spending time with her family, including her husband, daughter, 2 dogs (Emmett and Fletcher), cat (Clementine), and 3 budgies (Sprout, Blueberry, and Lemon).
