Dana Clark, Veterinarian

DVM

Dr. Clark has been practicing in the Ottawa area since graduating from Ontario Veterinary College, and has practiced at Alta Vista Animal Hospital for fifteen years. Dr. Clark is a family veterinarian working in the General Practice of the hospital. Her interests include feline medicine and feline friendly practice, preventative health maintenance for pets of all ages, dermatology and internal medicine.

She loves to meet new “furry” family members, watch them grow up and care for them throughout their lifetime. Watching a pet recover from an injury or illness and the joy that this brings to the pet’s family is one of the most rewarding parts of her job. Dr. Clark is also committed to lifelong learning, and attends continuing education lectures to keep informed of current research and therapies.

Outside of the hospital, Dana occupies herself with raising her two amazing teenage boys, and caring for 2 cats, tropical fish and of course, her husband. Dana enjoys knitting, music, downhill skiing, baking/cooking, gardening and redecorating her home.. In 2013, she participated in a Habitat for Humanity home building trip to Kilmarnock, West Virginia, with members of her church, and hopes to return again soon.
