Pauline vanVeen, Veterinarian

Dr. vanVeen graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1982. Since that time she practiced first in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia then in Bramalea, Ontario. She has been with the Barrie Veterinary team since 2007. She attends many continuing education courses and seminars and donates her time to both dog and cat rescue organizations. Pauline’s other interests include horse back riding, camping, canoeing and folk music. Dr. vanVeen’s pets include a Brittany Spaniel, a Stabyhoun and three senior cats. In the past she has also owned and loved a German Shepherd and two mixed breed dobermans. Dr. vanVeen is presently a member of the Barrie Kennel and Obedience Club and recently received her license which allows her to go to remote locations in northern Ontario to run spay/neuter clinics. This allows the communities with no veterinary care to control their dog overpopulation problems.
