RVT

Alyson started her career in veterinary medicine as a 10 year old! She helped her mom manage the local county Humane Society in Ohio and performed all animal care duties. In 2008, Alyson's dedication and passion led her to become the youngest employee at the Toronto Humane Society, marking the start of her extensive career in the field. She continued to build her expertise through various roles in animal care, culminating in her graduation from Georgian College’s Veterinary Technician program in 2018.

Alyson has a strong interest in surgery and anesthesia. She spent many years as a Surgery RVT, making significant contributions at both the Toronto Humane Society's High Volume Spay Neuter Clinic and VCA

Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital. Alyson also has a strong passion for mentoring and teaching, which is what ultimately led her to a leadership role. She has had the opportunity to manage a group of 50+ hospitals across Canada, supporting independently owned veterinary clinics with their management duties in a variety of settings, including 24hr emergency, small animal and mixed animal practices.

Her professional focus includes delivering exceptional patient care and developing and implementing protocols that emphasize patient-centered care.
