Kayla Polmateer, Veterinary Assistant
Kayla grew up in Codrington and went to high school at ENSS. It was there that Kayla did a co-op at a local vet office and confirmed her love of animals and decided to make a career out of caring for them. She graduated from the Vet Assistant program at St. Lawrence college and we have been lucky to have her join our team. Her love of animals shows in her excellent care of our patients. Kayla loves all aspects of caring for pets but finds it very rewarding to use her knowledge to help people when their pet is ill. While volunteering at the Humane Society, Kayla met and fell in love with her beagle Sandy. Kayla and her partner Andrew live in Frankford and share their home with Phoebe, a beautiful Siamese. They have recently added to the family with the very adorable Mavis, a Miniature Australian Shepherd
