Dr. Chan received her D.V.M. from the University of Saskatchewan with Distinction in 2013. She has been a part of the VCA Canada team since then, working in emergency and general practice. She was born and raised in Ottawa before moving out West to Lethbridge, Alberta. She graduated with Great Distinction in Biology at the University of Lethbridge. Bilingual in French and English, Colleen has worked on Parliament Hill and the Vimy Ridge Memorial in France. She is an avid traveler in Europe and Asia. Her special clinical interests include internal and preventative medicine.
An animal lover, Colleen has both a cat and a dog at home. When not at work, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with her husband and 2 young kids.
