Jude has been working at VCA Mills Haven Animal Hospital since January 2026. She is originally from Scotland, UK and moved to Edmonton in 2007 to pursue a research career investigating the cardiovascular complications of pregnancy at the University of Alberta. To expand her skills into the medical field, she then attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her veterinary degree in 2022.
Since graduating, Jude has developed a special interest in cardiology; including the management of degenerative valve disease in dogs and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in cats.
In her downtime, Jude enjoys being outdoors hiking, gardening, cycling, and snowboarding – depending on the season. She loves spending time with her two companions; her cat Jack and her beagle mix Jackson.
