Vanessa K., Registered Veterinary Technician
Vanessa grew up in the Niagara region, specially Niagara Falls and Stevensville area. She has always had a love and passion for all living creatures. As young at 7 years old she knew she wanted to help animals and do something that involves caring for them and having them be a part of her daily life. She studied at St. Lawrence College is Kingston, ON to become a Veterinary Technician and graduated in June of 2022. She shortly earned her Registered Veterinary Technician status in December of 2022. She is fairly new to the field but loves to learn and likes a good challenge here and there. She always strives to make every client and pet feel welcomed and make every visit a positive experience. She finds it very rewarding when a sick pet came to the clinic and hearing that they are doing much better! She also enjoys helping out in surgery. In her spare time Vanessa enjoys being outside in nature, hiking, fishing, working out and spending time with her boyfriend, friends and family. She has a 10-year-old Yorkshire terrier named Teddy and a 6-month old kitten named Freya that she loves very much! I’m sure next time you see her she will spoil your dog and cat with loads of treats! Especially if you dog is a Labrador Retriever (her favourite breed) , watch out!
