Ashley completed her undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, followed by her Masters in Medical Science at the University of Toronto, prior to starting at the Ontario Veterinary College. She just graduated obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and VCA Rosedale is her first full-time position as an associate veterinarian.
Ashley’s professional interests include learning soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine, while striving to practice gold-standard medicine. In addition, Ashley also has an interest in learning to treat exotic species, mainly small mammals (aka pocket pets).
When she isn’t working, Ashley enjoys taking dance classes (hip hop and dancehall) and yoga classes, as well as reading, baking, and painting. Ashley also loves travelling and learning about different cultures. At home, Ashley is constantly entertained by her cat, Kiara, who was a foster fail.
