Antonia was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. After graduating with Honors in Sociology and Psychology, she also completed a postgraduate degree in Counselling, which she used to pursue a career in therapy and social work in the UK. After 5 years in this field, she decided it was time for a change, and made the big decision to move to Canada in 2020.

Arriving in Canada, she looked to combine her experience with people and her love of animals by joining the Client Care team at VAERC, and found her passion in helping pet parents and their furry companions. She went on to become the Client Care Team Lead in 2021, and draws on her varied background and experience to provide excellent customer service and support to our wonderful clients.

When she is not at work, Antonia can be found on one of Vancouver's ski mountains, buried in a good book, or playing boardgames with friends.

The hospital administration team consists of management personnel who oversee all staff members, hospital activities and the facilities. Together, they keep the hospital running smoothly, ensuring quality patient care and excellent client service. From the moment you check in, our administrative staff is here to deliver the best possible experience to you and your pet before, during and after your visit.
