Alanna P.

Alanna successfully completed the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Douglas College in 2015 and immediately joined the Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospital team. Her love of learning and an internal calling to increase her animal nursing skills saw Alanna being awarded the VCA Canada Scholarship for the Penn Foster College online Veterinary Technician program in 2018, where she completed her course work while working full-time at the hospital. In 2021 Alanna graduated and became a Registered Veterinary Technician, where her favourite part of her job is getting to know the patients and building a bond with them.
