Becca Wink, Edmonton Mobile Veterinarian
Dr. Becca grew up just North of Edmonton on an acreage. Her love for all animals was apparent from age young age as she was always tending to the family pets including horses, cats, and dogs. Dr. Becca attended the University of Alberta from 2009-2012 where she completed her Pre-Veterinary studies and then she made the big move to Calgary in 2012 to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2016.
In her last year of Veterinary School, she attended a month-long field school in Tanzania, working with local pastoralists and their sheep and goat herds. She also did a backpacking trip across Europe and Australia prior to moving back home and starting her career in the Edmonton area.
Dr. Becca is so excited to be starting with the Vets to Go team! She is most looking forward to being able to provide excellent care and see her furry patients in the comforts of their own homes. Dr. Becca values building strong relationships with her clients and working with them to create the best treatment plan for their pets! She has a particular love for dermatology/itchy pets and managing complex health issues.
Dr. Becca shares a busy household with her husband and all their pets – including 3 dogs and a cat, named Tootie (Yorkie cross), Charlie (border terrier), Cece (German shorthaired pointer), and Primrose (British shorthair). Her favorite hobbies include hiking, cross-country skiing, backcountry camping, horseback riding, yoga, and spin.
