Dr. Devin Dobbins is a local native to the Ottawa area. After several years of working as a veterinary assistant in the city and realizing his love of the veterinary profession, he took an adventurous leap abroad to pursue his veterinary degree at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. During his studies, Dr. Dobbins continued to build his passion for small animal veterinary practice and further developed a special interest in Emergency Critical Care. Following his graduation in 2018, he said farewell to the United Kingdom and returned home where he joined the team at the Alta Vista Animal Hospital.

During his spare time, Dr. Dobbins enjoys hiking, photography and travelling to new cities when time permits. While he doesn’t have any pets of his own at the moment, Dr. Dobbins hopes to add an English Bull Terrier to his family in the near future.
