Dr. Jasmina Kircanski is an internationally trained Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a background and extensive experience in research and science.

She worked for the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Ontario Veterinary College. Along with her DVM, Dr. Kircanski holds MVSc and MSc specializing in Infectious Diseases.

She has decided to return to her passion for direct interaction with animals in a clinical setting. After practicing in Guelph and Toronto, she joined the team at Pretoria Animal Hospital in September 2021. Since then, Dr. Kircanski has decided to transition to emergency medicine.

She is eager to take on this new challenge and hone her surgical skills.

While a considerable part of her life revolves around veterinary medicine, in her downtime, Jasmina enjoys fitness, cooking, the outdoors, and, spending time with her wife and her dogs, Winston and Phoenix.
