Dr. White is our medical director who earned her BSc. in Animal Science in 1995, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, both from the University of Guelph. She continued her studies to receive special training in radiology for canine hip dysplasia (PennHIP), as well as in the advanced surgical procedure of cruciate repair in the dog (TPLO surgery). She has a number of years experience in general practice, emergency medicine, orthopedic surgery and obviously rehabilitation medicine.
Dr. White completed all the requirements for certification in pain management in 2013. She is the only veterinarian in Kingston certified in rehabilitation medicine, and certified in pain management. She will continue to work at her rehabilitation centre, Arlington Park Veterinary Services and will be with us for 4 days a week doing general medicine. Walter, pictured here is an Irish Wolf Hound who shares Dr. White with the rest of her family!
