Dr. Krista Gilpin graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2003 and is excited to be back at Bellbrae Animal Hospital. With many years of veterinary experience, she is committed to providing compassionate, gold-standard care while building strong relationships with both her patients and their families.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Gilpin shares her home with her three dogs — KaBoom, Sparrow, Sugar, her cat Bacon and 2 birds. She is actively involved in agility, scent detection, hoopers and has participated in other dog sports such as trick training and ski joring. She believes these activities are a wonderful way to strengthen the bond between people and their pets while keeping dogs physically fit and mentally stimulated. She also values the strong sense of community and social connection that these activities create for both pets and their owners.
Dr. Gilpin also has a special interest in behavioral training and enjoys working with exotic pets. She appreciates the unique needs of these patients and values helping owners better understand and support their pets’ behavior and well-being.
Dr. Gilpin looks forward to reconnecting with the Bellbrae community and continuing to support pets and their families with dedication, kindness, and personalized care.
