Dr. Rebecca Walder joined the team at Central Animal Hospital in September 2024. Rebecca is originally from Merritt, British Columbia and has always had a love for animals, growing up with dogs and horses. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Thompson Rivers University and then graduated from veterinary school at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Rebecca appreciates the variability that small animal general practice encompasses, with special interest in wellness, preventative medicine, and palliative care.
Outside of work she enjoys playing volleyball or any activity that involves time with friends or family. She most looks forward to spending every day with her partner and yellow labrador, Ani.
